Both the writ petitions challenge maintainability of Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.52 of 2022 lodged under the provisions of the Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

During the course of present writ petitions, the petitioners and respondent no.1 have amicably resolved their disputes.

501-wp868-2022 with wp26-2023.doc Respondent No.1/Priyanka Ashish Chavan has filed an affidavit stating that an amount of Rs.42 lakh has been deposited with the Family Court, Pune. She has, therefore, stated that she has no objection to quash the criminal proceedings lodged against the petitioners.

Affidavit in reply filed on behalf of respondent no.1 is taken on record.

In view of no objection by respondent No.1 and considering the nature of the proceedings lodged against the petitioners, Rule is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (b) in both the proceedings.

Both the writ petitions stand disposed of in above terms. No costs.
