On 8 September 2023, the following order was passed : "This is an application for condonation of delay. Notice is issued. Respondents are served. Before proceeding to consider this Application for conodnation of delay, we note that in Civil Application No.238 of 2020, the State had sought stay to the operation and implementation of the judgment and award impugned in the First Appeal, and by order dated 4 March 2020, the Civil Application was allowed subject to deposit of the amount. As to a query whether the amount is deposited, the learned AGP seeks time to take instructions. List the Application for condonation of delay on 29 September 2023 to enable the learned AGP to make a statement".

The learned Addl. GP states that the amount of compensation is deposited.

We have considered the reasons given in the application for delay in filing the first appeal. The reasons having been found sufficient. The delay in filing the first appeal is condoned. 4.
