This is an application for extension of time to deposit the amount of Rs.10,00,000/- in the trial Court and also dispensing with the condition of not to leave the jurisdiction of the Court without permission of the Court.

The applicant was granted time by suspending the sentence by order dated 19th July, 2022 passed by this Court on a condition that the applicant shall deposit Rs.10,00,000/- in the trial Court within three weeks and not to leave the jurisdiction of the Court without the permission of the Court. It is submitted that the applicant is lady aged around 65 years. She could not arrange the amount of Rs.10,00,000/-. She requires permission to visit Thane to enable her to arrange the funds from the bank situated in Thane. It is further submitted that, extension of eight weeks may be granted to deposit the said amount.

The Advocate for the respondent - CBI submitted that the applicant can be at the most permitted to visit Thane for a period of two weeks to enable her to operate her bank account and the time to deposit may be extended by two weeks.

Considering the submissions, time to deposit the amount of Rs.10,00,000/- is extended by six weeks. The applicant is permitted to visit Thane for a period of two weeks from today. 7.

Interim Application No. 3011 of 2022 is disposed off accordingly.
