P.C:- Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for Respondent No.1-State.

We do not think it necessary to issue notice to the remaining Respondents which are Municipal Corporation of Pune and Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, for the reason that the issue of inter-se transfer of service of Petitioner from one Corporation to another Corporation will have to be properly considered and decided by the State Government and in that regard, one application is already made by the Petitioner to the Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.

It appears that the application of the Petitioner seeking transfer of her service from one Corporation to another Corporation is pending with the Urban Development Department since April, 2023 and S.R.JOSHI

919-wp-11587-2023.doc so, it would be in the fitness of things that the Principal Secretary, Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai is directed to decide the same in a time bound manner.

Accordingly Petition is partly allowed.

We direct Respondent No.1 to decide the application of the Petitioner which has been received on 6th April, 2023 by the Urban Development Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four weeks from the date of the order and communicate its decision to the Petitioner as soon as the decision is taken.

Rule is made absolute in the above terms. No order as to costs.
