The only relief sought by way of the above Writ Petition is a direction to the Respondent No.2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner. The Petitioner is working as a Police Naik in the office of the Respondent No. 3 - The Commissioner of Police, Nashik. The tribe claim of the Petitioner is pending since 2012. We, therefore, direct the Respondent No.2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar to decide the tribe claim of the Petitioner as belonging to "Thakur" scheduled tribe latest by 31/03/2019. The Petitioner to appear before the Respondent No. 2 - Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar on 1st November lgc

Till the tribe claim of the Petitioner is decided no coercive action be taken against the Petitioner in respect of his service on the ground that the Petitioner has not produced the caste validity certificate. With the directions as aforesaid, the above Writ Petition is disposed of.
