This is an application seeking expeditious trial in Sessions Case No. 385 of 2015 pending before Additional Sessions Judge, Thane wherein applicant who happens to be a Civil Enginer is being tried for offence punishable under section 376 of Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant was enlarged on bail by the Sessions Court. Learned counsel for the applicant has drawn the attention of this Court to the original complaint and submits that prima facie it appears to be a consensual sex.

2) In view of this, the prayer is granted. Learned Sessions Judge shall make an endeavour to conclude the recording of evidence within 4 months from the date of framing of charge.
