Heard. The Petitioner is an accused in CR No.97 of 2016 registered on 6 July 2016 for offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 504, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code. The investigation is going on.

Learned counsel for Petitioner submits that Petitioner is serving in United States of America. He has extended all possible cooperation to police. His apprehension is that in case he leaves India to join his service at USA, the police may ask him to remain present at the time of filing of charge sheet. He, therefore, seeks waiver of his attendance at the time of filing of charge sheet. 3.

At this stage, we are not inclined to entertain such a plea. As and when cause of action arises, the issue may be looked into.
