The applicant was admitted to interim protection from arrest by order dated 19/09/2022 and he was directed to report to the police station. Learned A.P.P. states that he has accordingly reported, but the Investigating Offcer was not present. He, therefore, wants his attendance for two further dates to obtain his voice sample, specimen signature as well as the handwriting. Apart from this, a statement is made that his custodial interrogation is not necessary.

In the wake of the above statement, let the applicant report to the Investigating Offcer on 17th and 19th October, 2022 between 3.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. and, thereafter, as and when directed.

Subject to the above compliance, order dated 19/09/2022 is made absolute.
