The applicant - Association of Managements of Law Colleges prays that the petition bearing Writ Petition No. 2723 of 2014 pending on the file of Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court be transferred to the Principal Seat i.e. High Court of Judicature at Bombay and heard and decided along with Original Side PIL No. 92 of 2016. 2.

The Writ Petition No. 2723 of 2014 was filed in the year 2014. The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the said petition was admitted by an order dated 17th December, 2014. The learned counsel submits that Original Side PIL No. 92 of 2016 is pending before

1-mca-300-17.doc the Principal Seat at Bombay on the same subject matter. It is informed that one more petition on the similar subject has been filed. To avoid multiplicity and considering nature of reliefs sought, the learned counsel for the applicant prayed for transfer of the Writ Petition No. 2723 of 2014. 3.

I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. - Bar Council of India and the learned AGP for the State. Perused the record. Considering the submissions advanced, I find that the applicant's request is reasonable. The applicant is the original petitioner in Writ Petition No. 2723 of 2014. If the said writ petition is transferred to the Principal Seat of the High Court at Bombay, the same can be heard along with other connected petitions on the same subject matter. 4.

The application is allowed. The Registry is directed to get transferred the Writ Petition No. 2723 of 2014 pending on the files of Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court to the Principal Seat at Bombay. The said Writ Petition No. 2723 of 2014 be clubbed and heard along with Original Side PIL No. 92 of 2016.
