By this petition, sent through jail, the petitioner seeks refund of Rs.30,000/- deposited by him when he was released on parole i.e. emergency Covid-19 parole.

Learned APP on instructions of Ms. Suvarna Chorghe, Jailor, Nashik Road Central Prison, Nashik states that the respondent-State has no objection if a direction is given to the Superintendent of Prison, Nashik Central Jail, Nashik to refund the said amount to the petitioner by RAJESHWARI RAMESH PILLAI Date:

Accordingly, we direct the Superintendent of Prison, Nashik Central Jail, Nashik to transfer the said amount of Rs. 30,000/- directly into the PPC Account of the petitioner within three weeks.

Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of in view of the above.

Stand over to 6th September 2023 for recording compliance of the said order.
