Heard learned counsel (appointed) for the petitioner for sometime. Perused the order dated 24/2/2017 in Bail Application No.2119/2016 and the order dated 23/4/2018 in Bail Application No.2465/2017.

Learned APP upon instructions state that only evidence of three witnesses i.e. two Investigating Officers and one medical officer is to be recorded and the matter is already fixed in trial Court on 21/1/2019 for that.

We have taken note of the fact that on 24/2/2017 this Court has directed day to day disposal of the matter. The petitioner has written letter but has not pointed out why the matter was required to be adjourned on various dates.

In this situation without observing anything more we direct

rsk 2/2 16-WP-3675-18.doc respondent-State not to seek any adjournments and to complete its remaining evidence at the earliest and the trial Court shall in any case decide the matter finally by 31/3/2019. Hence, the application is allowed and disposed of. The charges of learned counsel (appointed) for the petitioner shall be paid by the Legal Aid Committee as per the schedule. (REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.)
