Learned counsel for the appellant submits that by the passage of time, appeal is rendered infructuous. Inasmuch as appellant has undergone his sentence and is released from jail. Learned APP has also referred to report (same is marked as "X" for identification) of Superintendent of Yerwada Central Prison dated 19/12/2018 with chart of convicts who are lodged in this jail and either transferred to other jail or released on undergoing sentence.
