The proposal seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground as 'Peon' is rejected. 2.

It is trite that the restrictions with regard to the appointment on the compassionate ground, applicable at the relevant time, are not applicable to present petitioner. This Court, in a number of cases, has considered the aspect of recruitment on compassionate ground. This Court is informed that though the conditions/restrictions regarding appointment on compassionate ground have been relaxed, taking into consideration, the date of appointment of the petitioner, i.e., 13th April 2015, approval to the appointment of the petitioner on compassionate ground cannot be granted.

In the light of the above, the Education Offcer shall consider all the relevant aspects regarding appointment on compassionate ground and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
