This is an application for extending time to file affidavit in lieu of examination in chief of the applicant. Affidavit in lieu of examination in chief was to be filed on or before 18/04/2019 in terms of order passed by this Court on 03/04/2019. The petitioner- applicant is seeking extension of time. According to him, there is delay of 5 days in filing the application.

Learned Counsel for the respondent No.1 opposes the application. However, in the interest of justice and considering the reasons in the application and in view of the oral submissions made by learned Counsel for the applicant, time to file affidavit in lieu of examination in chief is extended by further period of 2 weeks from today. It is made clear that if within stipulated time affidavit in lieu of examination in chief is not filed no further extension will be granted. 3.

Civil Application is disposed of.
