1] Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in C.R. No. 490/2021 registered with Vasant Kunj Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 498A/406 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2] It is informed by the learned counsel for the applicant that after marriage on 29/06/2011, complainant wife resided till 17/05/2016. 3] Already matrimonial proceedings pending before the Family Court.

4] In that view of the matter, application is allowed. 1/2

17.2644.21 aba.doc 5] Submission made by learned counsel for the applicant that they shall be filing appropriate application before competent Court having regard to territorial jurisdiction is accepted. (i) In the event of arrest of applicant in C.R. No. 490/2021 registered with Vasant Kunj Police Station for offence punishable under Sections 498A/406 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code, he be released on bail on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) Applicant shall neither influence prosecution witnesses in any manner nor tamper with evidence. (iii) The protection shall cease to operate w.e.f. 30/11/2021.
