By these petitions, the petitioners are challenging the orders purported to be under Section 144(2) of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973. The said orders are issued on 26th July, 2019 and by the said orders, the petitioners are prohibited to stay in ShirurTaluka for a period of one month viz. 27th July, 2019 to 26th August, 2019. This period is already over and, therefore, the petitions are rendered infructuous. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners expressed his apprehension that the impugned orders would be continued for further period. Mrs. Pai,learned APP, on instructions of Mr.Manoj Yadav, PI, Ranjangaon Police Station, Pune (Rural), makes as statement that respondent No.2 does not propose to continue the impugned orders. The statement is accepted.
