The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner is receiving ex-gratia pension from the Second to Fourth Respondents. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner on instructions states that except for the provident fund amount of Rs.7657/- and interest payable on ex-gratia pension, the Petitioner has no subsisting grievance. Mr. Suresh Kumar, the learned counsel appearing for the Second and Third Respondents has placed on record a copy of the letter dated 16th February, 2018 addressed to Shivgan 1/3

him by the Divisional Office of Western Railway at Rajkot. The said letter is taken on record and marked Exhibit 'L-1' for Identification. The letter records that amount of Rs.7657/- payable to the Petitioner by way of provident fund has been transferred to the Head Office of the Western Railway.

We, accordingly, direct Head-quarters/Head Office of the Western Railway to forthwith transfer the amount of Rs.7657/- to Second to Fourth Respondents who in turn shall pay the said amount to the Petitioner.

As regards the claim of the Petitioner for interest, it will be open for the Petitioner to make a representation to Second to Fourth Respondents who will consider the same expeditiously in accordance with law.
