Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

By order dated 11 March 2008, Rule was issued in this petition. By order dated 8 September 2008, interim relief staying the impugned order was granted. Thereafter the petition has remained pending. The learned counsel for the Petitioners states that several events have taken place thereafter and the challenge to the impugned order is rendered academic as the impugned order has lost its efficacy.

In view of this position, writ petition is disposed of. Rule stands discharged.
