Heard. The petitioner claims to be a tenant of the premises admeasuring 45 ft. X 40 ft. along with a structure standing thereon. The erstwhile landlords of the petitioner have filed a suit for eviction under the provisions of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999 which came to be dismissed on 7th March 2014. An appeal challenging that decree is stated to be pending with the Appellate Court. In the meanwhile, respondent no.3 has purchased the suit property. 2.

According to the petitioner, on 18th February 2018, the petitioner was sought to be forcibly dispossessed and his electricity connection came to be disconnected. In that regard, the petitioner had made a complaint on 23rd February 2018 as addressed to respondent

ppn 2 13.wp-10367.18.doc no.2. The petitioner seeks consideration of the aforesaid complaint at the hands of respondent no.2.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent no.2 to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 23rd February 2018 and take a decision thereon. The needful be done after hearing the petitioner and respondent no.3. 4.

To facilitate consideration of the aforesaid complaint, the petitioner shall serve a copy of this order on respondent nos.2 & 3. On receipt of this order, respondent no.2 shall within a period of four weeks take a decision on the same. The decision taken be communicated to the parties. All points on merits are kept open.
