1) The learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to amend the application thereby correcting the name of the Police Station in the prayer clause. Leave granted. The amendment to be carried out forthwith.
2) The applicant is arraigned as an accused in CR No. 69/2016, registered with Varnama Police Station, District Vadodra, State of Gujarat for the offences punishable under section 465, 466, 467, 468, 475 of IPC.
3) The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant would file a proper legal proceedings before the Court of competent jurisdiction under which the said Varnama Police Station, District Vadodra, State of Gujarat falls. He submitted that the applicant may be protected for a period of
2 /2 2-aba-1604-16.doc four weeks from today by granting transit anticipatory bail. In view of the facts mentioned in the application and in the interest of justice, I am inclined to protect the applicant by way of transit anticipatory bail for a period of four weeks from today. Hence, the following order :
ORDER:- (a) In the event of arrest of the applicant by the Police from Varnama Police Station, District Vadodra, State of Gujarat and/or by the Maharashtra Police in C.R.No.69/2016 registered with Varnama Police Station, District Vadodra, State of Gujarat, the applicant be released on his furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.15,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;
(b) This transit anticipatory bail shall remain in force for the specific purpose of approaching the concerned Court in the State of Gujarat for a limited period of four weeks from today and no further extension for the same will be granted under any circumstance.
(c) All the concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
(d) The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. (A.S.GADKARI, J.)
