The petitioners in these petitions have approached this Court mainly contending that initiation of land acquisition proceedings was not taken up. Now learned counsel for the petitioners fairly submits that notices are issued by initiating land acquisition proceedings and it is in the process.

In that view of the matter, we are of the opinion that we need not keep the matter pending for any further direction except opining that the said proceedings must be taken to its logical conclusion, strictly, in accordance with law. All rival contentions are kept open.
