By filing this Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioners are seeking direction to Respondent No. 1 to register the proposed Trade Union as applied vide application dated 22nd July, 2015 (Exhibit "A") filed by them. 2.
According to the Petitioners, even after lapse of more than two years, the said application has not been considered and decided as yet.

Today when the matter came up for hearing, the only prayer made by the learned counsel for Petitioners to dispose of this Petition by directing the first Respondent to consider and take appropriate decision on the said application dated 22nd July, 2015 in accordance with law.

Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Petitioners, we dispose of this Petition by directing first Respondent to consider the said application dated 22nd July, 2015 (Exhibit "A") and decide it in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.
The Petitioners to serve the copy of this order on the first Respondent along with the copy of the application dated 22nd July, 2015.

Needless to say that we have not commented upon the merits of the matter and the Petitioners' entitlement to register the said union as a registered Trade Union.
