The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 123 of 2022 registered at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 498-A, 504 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

The deceased was the wife of the present applicant. According to her prosecution, the deceased was ill-treated at her matrimonial house. She thus, on 26 February 2022, committed suicide by hanging herself. MJ Jadhav 1 / 2

Admittedly, prior to the alleged incident the applicant and the deceased were married for about 10 years. The applicant is in jail for one year. Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. Hence, the following order is passed:

(i) Application is allowed.

(ii) The applicant- Satish Makhaji Renuse shall be released on bail in Crime No. 123 of 2022 registered at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 498-A, 504 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.
