Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel for the Respondents.

Petitioner claims to be the political activist. He is aggrieved by the decision taken by the Election Commission, transferring Central Government Employees for doing Assembly Election work. It is submitted that the Petitioner has made representation against the said orders of transfer, promotion after declaration of Assembly Elections to the State of Maharashtra. It is submitted that no action has been taken against Respondent No.4 by Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 for violating Election Code of Conduct.

In our view, firstly, the Petition was filed in 2014. Secondly, present Petition pertains to transfer of employees. Thirdly, those who are aggrieved by transfer could have very well challenged the said order by approaching the appropriate forum. Fourthly, in our view, there is no public interest involved in this Petition. Hence, we are not inclined to entertain this Petition as PIL. PIL is dismissed. (MRS. SWAPNA S. JOSHI, J. ) (V.M.
