The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that having regard to the period for which the applicant has been in custody, the trial be expedited. The applicant has been in custody since 31st January, 2022.

The learned Special Judge seized with NDPS Special Case No.824 of 2022 arising out of CR No.8 of 2022 is requested to make an endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.
