Considering the nature of directions proposed to be issued, service of notice on respondent no.2 is dispensed with. The learned AGP waives notice for respondent nos.1 and 3.

RULE. Rule made returnable forthwith and heard learned counsel for the parties.

The only prayer made by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of the representation dated 15th May 2023, that has been made by the petitioner before the respondent no.1. In the said representation, the petitioner has made a request for cancelling / annulling the Inquiry Report dated 20th March 2023, that has been submitted under Section 89-A of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.

Considering the innocuous nature of the prayer, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.1 to consider the said 1/2 901-WP-15118-2023.doc Dixit
representation in accordance with law and decide the same within a period of eight weeks of receiving copy of the order. The respondent no.1 shall give notice to the respondent no.2 while considering the said representation. All points raised are kept open for consideration by the respondent no.1.
