IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO.9527 OF 2015 Hanmant D. Patil

...Petitioner

V/s.

Gajanan Gramin Bigarsheti Sahakari Patsanstha Maryadit, Kumthe & Ors.

...Respondents

Mr.Umesh R. Mankapure for the Petitioner.

Mr.S.D. Rayrikar, A.G.P. for the State - Respondent No.1. None for the Respondent No.2.

CORAM : R.D. DHANUKA, J.

DATE : 6TH FEBRUARY, 2018.

P.C. :- 1.

By this petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has impugned the order dated 29th April, 2015 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Kolhapur dismissing the application for condonation of delay of 9 to 10 years.

2.

A perusal of the record clearly indicates that the petitioner has not explained the gross delay of 9 to 10 years in filing the revision application. The Divisional Joint Registrar is thus justified in refusing to condone the delay by recording the reasons in the 1/2

904-wp9527-15 impugned order. There is no merit in the petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
