By order dated 9th January, 2017, the Additional Collector has passed an order of disqualification as per Sub-Section (1)(A) of Section 10 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act, 1958. By order dated 20th March, 2017 the said order has been confirmed in an Appeal preferred by the petitioner. Hence, the prayers made in this Petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of. Disposal of the Petition will not prevent the petitioner from challenging the orders of disqualification in accordance with law.
