This civil application seeks recall of a dismissal order passed by this court for want of prosecution. There is a delay of 47 days in taking out the civil application. The delay is sought to be explained in the civil application. It is submitted that the Advocate originally appearing for the Applicant-Petitioner had expired and that the Applicant/Petitioner did not have a notice that the matter was posted for hearing before this court. For the reasons stated in the civil application, the delay is condoned and dismissal order dated 20 June 2017 is recalled and set aside and the writ petition is restored to file. Since the petition has already been ripe for hearing, it shall come up for hearing in the weekly list of 3 February 2020. The civil application is disposed of accordingly.
