The learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to amend the Petition so as to implead Chief Electoral Officer, Election Commission of India as party Respondent No. 7. The prayer is accepted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith. 2.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the Petition with liberty to file appropriate proceeding in accordance with law. The prayer is accepted. With the aforesaid liberty, the Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
