The Petitioner had sought appointment on compassionate basis upon death of her husband on 25 July 2007. The Petitioner had prayed that either the Petitioner- the widow or her son may be appointed on compassionate basis. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that during the pendency of the petition the son of the Petitioner is appointed on the compassionate basis. That being the position, nothing survives in this petition and it is accordingly disposed of.
