This is an application for fixing the date for hearing and final disposal of the Criminal Appeal No. 1631 of 2011. 2.

Learned counsel for the Applicant points out that the appeal was expedited in the year 2016. Thereafter the appeal was listed for final hearing and on at least four occasion, the respondents, who are original accused, sought adjournment on one ground or the other and, therefore, the matter could 1/2

By the last order dated 5th April, 2022, the appeal was directed to be listed on the final hearing board commencing from 18th April, 2022. The matter was listed accordingly. However, it did not reach hearing stage and as on today, the appeal is not on final hearing board.

Considering this history, the Applicant has made out a case for listing the Appeal for final hearing. 5.

The Appeal is directed to be listed on weekly final hearing board commencing from 21st November, 2022. 6.

Interim application is disposed of.
