The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent has placed on record the letters dated 30th May 2016 and 31st March 2016 issued to the Petitioner by the Regional Passport Office, Thane. Copies of the said letters are taken on record and marked "X1" and "X2" for identification. The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner on instructions of the Petitioner who is personally present in Court states that the Petitioner has received the said letters. Both the letters record that the file of the Application

These letters ought to have been disclosed in the Petition.

Now the remedy of the Petitioner is to challenge the action of closure which amounts to a rejection of grant of Passport in accordance with law or to make a fresh Application for grant of Passport in accordance with law.

Therefore, we decline to entertain this Petition. Subject to what is observed above, the Petition is disposed of.
