Heard learned counsel for applicant and learned APP. This application is filed for extension of time to furnish surety. Record reveals that applicant came to be released on bail by order dated 13th June 2016. Subsequently, by order dated 21st June 2016, applicant was allowed to furnish cash bail of Rs.50,000/- for a avk 1/2

906-APPA-1139-2016.doc period of one month, and as such, was required to furnish surety within above period. Learned counsel for applicant, however, states that said period was further extended by six weeks by this court, which has now expired, and as such, inspite of applicant producing surety, verification cannot be done. It is, therefore, prayed that period to furnish surety be further extended by four weeks.

Considering fact of applicant being found to be released on bail as aforesaid, however, as period to furnish surety has expired, application is liable to be allowed. Hence, following order : i) Application is allowed.

ii) Time to furnish surety is further extended by four weeks from today.

iii)Application is disposed of as allowed.
