This application is filed for quashing the FIR which was filed against the Applicant who is a practicing lawyer in Islampur. The allegation which is made by the complainant in the complaint is that the Applicant was present in Court when the consent decree was obtained by the Plaintiff and Defendant. It is submitted that the Applicant had neither signed the Power of Attorney nor the Compromise Pursis and was not concerned in any way with the said order obtained by the Plaintiff and Defendant. Ad-interim relief was granted by this Court in terms of prayer clause (c) on 8th October, 2014.
