By this First Appeal, the Appellant - claimant challenges the judgment and award dated 31.01.2017 passed by the Railway Claims Tribunal, Mumbai in claim Application No.OA No.1078/2011 rejecting the Appellant's claim Application u/s. 16(i) r/w. section 13(1-A) of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987 and section 124-A of the Railways Act, seeking compensation to the tune of Rs. 4 lacs.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the Appellant and the impugned judgment and award following order is passed:
