By a reasoned order dated 07.09.2017, the Applicant was granted interim relief.
The learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that in pursuance to the statement made on 07.09.2017, the Applicant has deposited the entire amount of Rs.12,00,000/- in the registry of this Court. Perused the papers of investigation. As noted in the order dated 07.09.2017, prima facie it appears that , the present crime is lodged out of sale of landed property and as per the allegation, the Applicant after accepting Rs.12,00,000/- did not convey the property in favour of the first informant neither returned the money. The police have already seized the necessary documents and as noted earlier the Applicant has deposited the said sum of Sneha Chavan 1/2
6 aba 1566-17=.doc Rs.12,00,000/- in the Registry of this Court. In view thereof, the custodial interrogation of the Applicant is not necessary.
