The Petitioners had filed Original Application No. 88 of 2016 which was disposed of by judgment and order dated 18 April 2016 passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (the Tribunal). 3.
The learned Counsel for the parties state that the facts of the present Petition are similar to that of Writ Petition No.3520 of 2016 which has been disposed of by this Court by judgment and order dated 12 December 2023 and therefore, this Petition may also be disposed of accordingly in the same terms.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed. The impugned order dated 18 April 2016 passed by the Tribunal is quashed and set aside. The State will extend the same benefits to the present Petitioners as granted to the Petitioners in Writ Petition No. 3520 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date order is uploaded. 5.
Rule is made absolute in above terms.
