Shri.Joshi, the learned Advocate appointed to represent the appellant/accused at the cost of the State submits that the appellant is writing several letters to him for expeditious hearing of his appeal and for converting his sentence from simple to rigorous.
Shri.Joshi, appointed Advocate tenders a letter dated 01/02/2017 sent by the appellant/accused through jail to him and requests for taking the same on record. The letter is taken on record and marked as Exhibit 'A'.

(275)APEALNo.1942016(O) Perusal of this letter shows that the appellant/accused prayed for converting his sentence from simple to rigorous with an averment that as the learned trial Court had directed him to undergo simple imprisonment, he is not getting facility of remissions.
In the today's second sessions, no Advocates appearing for appellants in the appeals on final hearing board were present and, therefore, though this appeal was lower on the board of final hearing, it is taken up for final hearing at the request of Shri.Joshi, the learned Advocate appointed by this Court to represent the appellant/accused.
