The applicant is apprehending arrest in C.R. No.301 of 2022 registered with Umbraj Police Station, District - Satara for the offence punishable under Section 406, 408, 409, 420, 467 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal code, and Sections 3 and 4 of The Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1999 (M.P.I.D.Act).

It is submitted that inquiry under Section 88 of Maharashtra Co-Operative Societies Act was conducted and no individual liability was fixed against applicant. This fact is not disputed by the prosecution. The applicant was granted interim relief by this Court vide Order dated 28th September, 2022.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, custodial interrogation of Applicant is not necessary. Interim reliefs granted on 28th September, 2022 can be confirmed. Hence, following order :

ORDER

i.

Anticipatory Bail Application No.2567 of 2022 is allowed & disposed off;

ii.

Interim order dated 28th September, 2022 is confirmed. iii.

In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with C.R. No. 301 of 2022 registered with Umbraj Police Station, District - Satara the applicant be released on bail on furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount;

iv.

The applicant shall appear before the investigating officer as and when called for.
