Counsel for the applicant Mr. Patil, on instructions, made a statement that the total amount which is alleged against the applicant in the commission of offence is Rs.8,73,000/-. The victims - Prasad Tanaj Anpat and Navnath Sopan Choudhari had invested an amount of Rs.1,73,000/- and Rs.7,00,000/- (Rs.8,73,000/- in total) respectively with the applicant for the purpose of Bhishi scheme. According to him, as far as the claim of Navnath is concerned, the same is already settled. He has invited my attention to the affidavit sworn by the complainant on 13.04.2022 to that effect.

Learned APP, on instructions from the investigating officer, submits that the said Navnath, after the aforesaid affidavit, has not made any grievance with the investigating officer. 3.

Mr. Patil as such, on instructions from the applicant, submits that the applicant shall deposit an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- with the investigating officer towards recovery in the offence in question within a period of two weeks from today. Since the statement is made on instructions, the same is accepted as an undertaking to this Court and condition precedent for his release.

In this background, in the event of arrest of the applicant in Crime No.40 of 2022 registered with Indapur Police Station, District - Pune (Rural) for the offence punishable under Sections 120-B, 403, 408, 409 and 420 of the IPC, he be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount. Applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer from 26th to 30th September, 2022 between 10:00 a.m. and 12 noon and thereafter as and when directed by the Investigating Officer. The said applicant shall not directly or indirectly try to influence the prosecution witnesses and tamper with the evidence.
