The challenge in this petition is to the order of allowing amendment in written statement.

On perusal of the record, it appears that the Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.11253 of 2018 by order dated 22 November 2018, permitted defendant to amend its written statement and raise such pleas as are permissible to it in law. It appears that in furtherance of such liberty, the present application for amendment of written statement is filed.

Considering the period of litigation in earlier round of litigation, no interference in the impugned order is called for. However, since the suit is of the year 2013, it may be disposed of within one year from today.
