According to the Petitioners, Respondent Nos. 4 and 5 have sent a proposal dated 25th July, 2017 (Exhibit F) seeking approval for granting benefit of Carrier Assurance Scheme as per the policy dated 5th July, 2010 in favour of the Petitioners on their completion of 24 years of service, to the Respondent No. 3 but the same has not been decided by the Respondent No. 3 as yet. Having regard to the aforesaid, without commenting upon the merits of the Petitioners' claim, we direct the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to examine the said proposal (Exhibit F) in respect of grant of the benefit of Carrier Assurance Scheme as per the policy and take appropriate decision on it in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

The Petitions are disposed of as such.
