The grievance of the Petitioner in this Public Interest Litigation is that he has submitted the representation before Respondent No. 3 in regard to various irregularities and illegalities being committed by Ichalkaranji Municipal Council, but till date no action has been taken on the said representation. 2.

Today when the matter came up before hearing, the only prayer made is that this Petition may be disposed of by directing Respondent No. 3/Director, Municipal Administration Directorate, Worli, Mumbai to consider and take appropriate decision in regard to representation dated 29th June, 2015 (Annexure I). Having regard to the aforesaid prayer, without going into the merits of the matter and the contentions raised in the representation, we dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 3/Competent Authority to consider and take appropriate decision on Petitioner's representation dated 29th June, 2015 (Annex I) as expeditiously as possible.

The Petitioner to submit a copy of the said representation along with the copy of this order before the said authority within two weeks.

Needless to say that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. All the contentions raised in this Petition are kept open.

With the aforesaid direction, Public Interest Litigation stands disposed of.
