The above Civil Application has been filed for intervention/impleadment in the above petition. Impleadment is founded on the fact that Applicants are similarly situated as the Petitioners and therefore, any order passed in the above Writ Petition would adversely affect them.

2 30.1998.18 caw.doc The learned counsel for the original Petitioners Mr. Y. V. Divekar as also the learned counsel for Union of India Mr. R. V. Govilkar do not dispute the similarity between the original Petitioners and the Applicants.

The Civil Application is allowed and made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). Amendment to be carried out within one week and the amended cause title be served to the learned counsel for Union of India as well as the Applicants. Newly added Respondents would be at liberty to file an affidavit in the above Petition. The learned counsel Mr. Govilkar states that the affidavit on behalf of Union of India would be filed by 19/10/2018.

The Civil Application stands disposed of. List the Petition for admission on 25/10/2018.
