The only relief claimed in the Petition is to issue direction to the Appellate Authority i.e. the Respondent to consider and take appropriate decision on the Petitioner's appeal, which is pending before him since 2010. According to the Petitioner the Petitioner has filed the aforesaid appeal challenging the order passed in regard to fixation of eligibility of Petitioner as a Slum Dweller but the said appeal has not been decided.

In view of the aforesaid without commenting upon the Megha 1/2

AS_510_wp_10022_2017.doc merits of the matter and the Petitioner's entitlement, this Petition be disposed of by directing the Respondent to consider and take appropriate decision on the Petitioner's Appeal as expeditiously as possible and not later than three months from the date of Petitioner's appearance before the Appellate Authority. The Petitioner to appear before the Appellate Authority on 25.9.2017.
