Petitioner claims that she is working as a Cook with the second respondent school. She was appointed on 12.7.1992 as a Cook. Her claim is that since her post has been sanctioned by the State Government on 9.6.1996 and from the date of her initial appointment she is continuously working but she has not been extended the time bound promotion for which she is entitled to. It is also the case of the petitioner that similarly placed employees have been extended higher pay scales whereas the petitioner has not been granted the same for no valid reason.

Having regard to the aforesaid claim made by the petitioner, we are inclined to dispose of this petition by directing the respondents to look into the petitioner's grievance and take

hvn 22-wp-4010.2014 appropriate decision on it in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order. The respondents are directed to treat this petition as her representation and decide the petitioner's claim made by the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. We direct respondent no.2 to forward a copy of this order to respondent no. 1 for immediate compliance within time as fixed above. Needless to say that we have not commented upon the merits of the petitioner's claim.

With the aforesaid directions, the Petition is disposed of. All contentions are kept open.
