This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing the second appeal. The delay is of 1 year 217 days. The learned counsel for the respondent vehemently submits that in the present application there is no plausible explanation for the inordinate delay in filing the second appeal and therefore, the said application seeking condonation of delay deserves to be allowed.

It is pertinent to note that the two other connected appeals arising out of the same judgment are filed within time and pending adjudication by this Court.

In view of this and in the interest of justice the delay deserves to be condoned upon depositing a cost of Rs. 1000/- to be paid to the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority within three weeks from today. The application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) and stands disposed of.
