Heard learned Counsel for the applicant.

By this application, the applicant seeks release of the applicant on temporary cash bail for a period of 6 weeks. Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that during the said period of 6 weeks, the applicant will comply with the order of this Court dated 16th June, 2017, by which the applicant was enlarged on bail.

It appears that the applicant was arrested in connection with C.R. No. 238 of 2014 registered with the Dindoshi Police Station, Mumbai for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 313, 323, 504, 506, 509, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act. This Court (Coram : P. D. Naik, J.) vide order dated 16th June, 2017 was pleased to enlarge the applicant on bail, on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. It appears that despite the said order, the applicant has not been able to furnish the sureties. It appears that the applicant is in custody for almost 9 months.

Considering the aforesaid, the application is allowed on the following terms and conditions :

ORDER

(i) The applicant be released on cash bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, for a period of six weeks;

(ii) During the said period of six weeks, the applicant to comply with the order dated 16th June, 2017 i.e. to furnish P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount; 2/3

(iii) Rest of the conditions imposed by the order dated 16th June, 2017, to remain as it is.

Application is disposed of accordingly.
