This is an application for early hearing of the appeal challenging conviction of the applicant/appellant/accused for offences punishable under Section 7, 13(1)(d) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

4-APPA-1159-2016.doc Heard the learned Advocate appearing for the applicant/accused. He pointed out the order dated 28th March 2016 passed by the learned Single Judge of this court (Coram : A.M.Thipsay, J.) and submitted that by the said order the appeal was already expedited and was directed to be fixed in the week commencing from 6th June 2016 for final hearing. Vide order dated 13th June 2016 similar request for expediting the hearing of the appeal was made and this court (Coram : Revati Mohite-Dere, J.) had directed that as the appellant is on bail, the appeal be added to the Final Hearing Board of the appeals wherein the accused are on bail. The Registry is, therefore, directed to list the appeal in the board of appeals in which appellants/accused are on bail. With this direction, the application stands disposed of. (A. M.
